I graduated Texas A&M University School of Law and I'm a proud member of the Texas Bar as well as a Certified Public Accountant. I have a deep and abiding passion for flying, sailing, and the arts. This blog is designed for others who share my interests in how laws, especially tax laws, affect these avocations, as well as some general reflections on tax controversy, international tax issues, and some items of general advocacy interest.

400 DAYS
When I served as Operations Controller at FTS International, I learned the importance of celebrating milestones, especially when hitting "gates" in long term projects. I began my studies at Texas A&M University School of Law 28 months ago. It has been a long and challenging journey for both my family and myself.
Today, there are 400 days remaining before graduation. I remain grateful to the University for all it has done to make my study possible, to Brook Mays Music for the ability to flex my work schedule, and to my family for their unflinching support.
