There isn't much to say regarding this right now.
Heather and I were in the airport office when this occurred (8 April, 1500 CST), and reached the aircraft within perhaps a minute of the accident. The first responders (fire and police) did a great job all-round. Likewise, airport management, the FBO, and the bystanders performed magnificently when it really mattered.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family, as well as to the instructor and everyone else affected by this event.
