Thanks
I
am in the final turn for my second semester of law school and it seems an
appropriate time to take a minute to pause and reflect. My classmates and
professors are some of the highest caliber people I've ever been privileged to
know. For some fortuitous reason, I've wound up in the exact right school, with
exactly the right associates, at the exact right time.
There
is no way I could possibly have attended A&M University School of Law
without many pieces falling exactly into place. I owe a huge debt to my wife
Heather and our children; Annie, Sebastian, Sophia, Emma, Maria, Deana,
Preston, Louisa, and Lily. "One-Alpha" and "One-Bravo" dogs
Dozer and Atticus along with "Auxiliary" dog Hank have been protecting
the family from stray felons, various tortfeasors, library patrons, letter
carriers, and the occasional squirrel during the periods that I'm away in class
or at the office. Cats Pounce and 77 used to be quite effective, but now spend most
of the hour a day that they are awake either avoiding Hank or trying to figure
out how to get at the herons nesting above the house. They get honorable
mention anyway.
Appreciation
is also due to my clients, employers, associates, and colleagues. Please be
assured of my continuing gratitude for all that you do! If anyone's in the
neighborhood of West Main Street in Waxahachie during the evening hours, I'll be on the
porch reading "Estates in Land and Future Interests." You're always
welcome for an espresso or glass of wine.
Thanks,
Paul
