ARE YOU KIDDING?

Wiring, Thug Life Style

I went down to the boat the other day to perform some much-deferred maintenance. I saw this a couple slips outboard of mine. I did an article not very long ago related to electric shock drowning. Within that article, the good folks at BoatUS had some tips related to ensuring that boat electrical systems were not energizing the water. I'm not certain what they would make of this.

Tip from Captain Paul:

If you REALLY feel the need to test the marina's amperage capacity, at least hang around while you smoke-test the circuitry. There is no way that all this "stuff" needs to be energized at the same time (some cords go under the pier, and I'm not certain what they connect to).

Please unplug and stow your gear when you leave!
