I offer this as a suggestion. Unfortunately, in
our secular age few people believe that intermediary prayer works, and still
fewer will give it a try.
Saint Joseph of Cupertino is the patron saint of aviators,
the mentally handicapped, and … test taking. Studying was very difficult for
him. His examination to be a Deacon consisted of him expounding at length on a
Bible verse chosen at random. The Bishop chose Luke xi, 27; "Beatus venter
qui te portavit, et ubera quae suxisti," which happened to be the one
verse that Joseph knew well.
The prayer consists of asking that the exam contain
only those questions for which you have the answers. This is not a substitute
for studying! Your mileage may vary; but it has worked for me thus far in each
of my exams.
